At LaatsteAutoBod, we want you to understand how your personal information is handled. Here we explain how we assess vehicle enquiries, what information we use and your privacy rights.
1. About LaatsteAutoBod
You can request an offer for your vehicle through LaatsteAutoBod. We use your details to assess your enquiry personally and contact you.

2. Data processed
We process your name, email, telephone, optional location, number plate and vehicle details, mileage, transmission, preferred selling price, any existing offer, remarks and submitted vehicle photos. We also record submission time and limited technical information for security. Public RDW vehicle data may be retrieved using the plate number.
3. Purposes and lawful bases
We process your information to assess your vehicle enquiry and contact you about a possible offer. Processing necessary to take steps at your request before a potential contract is generally based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Necessary security and abuse prevention may rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). We do not make automated price offers.
4. Recipients and processors
Access is restricted to authorised staff. We do not share vehicle enquiries or uploaded photos with other car dealers or garages for resale or appraisal. Necessary hosting, email and technical suppliers may process information on our instructions. Hosting is provided through Mijndomein. Email service: Mijndomein. Processor agreements and any transfers outside the EEA must be verified prior to launch.
For internal notifications, enquiry details and vehicle photos are sent to our business email address and, where configured, a second internal business Gmail inbox. Google may therefore process these email copies. We apply our retention policy to the email archives as well. We do not send automated Google review invitations.
5. Retention and security
Completed or closed enquiries and their vehicle photos are generally kept for up to 12 months after closure. This period is intended to allow us to review previous offers, respond to questions or complaints, and investigate possible disputes. We periodically assess whether earlier deletion is possible. A daily cleanup task is configured but relies on WordPress scheduled tasks actually running, which must be verified along with backup retention before launch. Separate legal duties or a concrete dispute may justify keeping necessary records longer. Financial documents may be subject to separate statutory retention periods. Access is restricted and vehicle photos are stored privately.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and object where applicable. Contact info@laatsteautobod.nl. You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
7. Cookies
We remember your cookie choice using functional storage for up to 180 days. Only if you actively accept marketing cookies and a Meta Pixel ID has been configured do we load the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. This measures advertising visits and whether an enquiry was successfully sent. Meta may receive information about your device, browser, visited pages, IP address and advertising cookie IDs (such as _fbp and, where applicable, _fbc). We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or vehicle photos from our forms as part of these marketing events. Meta may process this information according to its privacy policy, including international transfers and retention. Where configured, we may also use Google Ads from Google Ireland Limited after the same explicit marketing consent to attribute submitted enquiries to advertising. Google may receive browser, device, IP and advertising click data and use cookies such as _gcl_aw. We report a conversion only after an enquiry with a vehicle photo is stored, using an opaque technical reference for deduplication. It contains no name, email, telephone or number plate. We do not send form contents or photos, enable enhanced conversions or grant ad personalisation through this tag. Without marketing consent we do not load this Google tag or send cookieless measurement pings. See Google’s privacy policy for its processing, international transfers and retention. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of our website. Other active plugins or services should be assessed separately for tracking and cookies.
